ServiceNow Chairman and CEO Bill McDermott, has delivered an energetic and animated opening keynote at Knowledge25, which kicked off this morning in Las Vegas. McDermott outlined how autonomous Agentic AI is making the impossible possible, and reiterated that their unified single architecture platform is putting AI to work for people.

He began his keynote by reiterating the incredible opportunity presented by AI, and highlighted how it will drastically reduce OPEX costs by 2030.

“Now is our time. AI is the only $22T global market opportunity between now and 2030. It’s going to take out $4T in OPEX costs by the end of 2030, so say goodbye to waste, and say hello to growth. However, it’s important for us to recognise that before we do things differently, we have to see things differently. It’s time for a new architecture, and that is evidenced by the fact that only 1 in 4 enterprises have seen an ROI on their transformation. The cost of this legacy inefficiency is killing businesses,” said McDermott.

McDermott outlined the uniqueness of the ServiceNow AI platform, and cited comments made by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, that solidified the viewpoint that nobody else does it quite like ServiceNow across the enterprise sector.

“We are all acutely aware that 21st century problems can’t be solved by 20th century architecture. Agentic AI will become core databases and they will feed into the ServiceNow platform. AI makes the impossible possible, and speed is the ultimate competitive advantage. We are going to bring AI agents to every corner of your business on one platform, one architecture and one data model. Jensen Huang has described ServiceNow as the Central Nervous System of the 21st century for the enterprise. We enable 65bn workflows executions per-year, and we turn complexity into simplicity across one intelligent platform. We are putting AI to work for people, and AI is all about people, there is no AI without human intelligence. The agentic AI era needs a different kind of platform, and we want to replace all of the chaos with clarity, and we can do that with our Service Now AI platform,” said McDermott.

McDermott then passed the baton to Amit Zavery, President, and Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, who explained how their AI platform is removing the silos that exist across the enterprise – and highlighted the impact of their AI Agent Orchestrator.

Zavery then announced the launch of the AI Control Tower, a centralized command centre to govern, manage, secure, and realise value from any ServiceNow and third-party AI agent, model, and workflow on a single unified platform.
