SamTech signs MoU with China Mobile International

SamTech Middle East announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Mobile International (CMI), to partner together and to promote and deliver the holistic and futuristic digital technologies to customers in the UAE and GCC region.

This agreement has been signed after good discussion between both companies at GITEX by Mr Samir I. Abdulhadi, Founder and CEO of SamTech Middle East, and Mr Alex Y.S. LEE, Managing Director, China Mobile International Middle East subsidiary. Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate to launch different digital initiatives and programs related to AI, IoT, Blockchain and Location Based Services as well as Security-related technologies like Face recognition. The MoU between the party’s states that the two companies will collaborate to offer the government entities and enterprises in the UAE futuristic services. CMI and SamTech will work together with a joint go-to-market approach utilising CMI expertise, consulting services and latest technologies serve UAE and GCC enterprise customers through a one-stop managed solution framework and direction.

CMI has an extensive and reliable global network, over 60 submarine and terrestrial cable resources, five self-owned data centres, over 160 PoPs and 60 Cloud Connect PoPs, providing enterprise customers with an unprecedented 99.99 percent guaranteed uptime service level agreement (SLA). Leveraging China Mobile’s whole new fibre infrastructure in China, CMI offers customers comprehensive value-added data services, plus 24×7 support via its network operations centre.
