Cortado presented its mobile device management (MDM) and virtual printing solutions at this week’s CeBit trade fair in Hanover, Germany.
The vendor said that trends such as BYOD offer companies the potential to substantially increase employees’ productivity and flexibility, but that IT departments are challenged by securely integrating mobile devices into existing architectures.
As a solution, Cortado highlighted its new Cortado Corporate Server 6.1 in a demonstration at CeBit’s Virtualisation and Storage Forum. The solution allows for high-performance MDM, “unrivalled” file sharing, and cloud desktop functions, the vendor said.
Corporate Server 6.1 also offers what Cortado described as a “perfect” security concept, making it ideal to tackle BYOD challenges.
Meanwhile, the firm also presented its ThinPrint products, which allow for print processing in Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, among other network environments. The highlight of the show was ThinPrint 9.0, which delivers functions for VDI and remote desktop printing. Cortado said that the new system also supports Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8.
