Prominent IT Distributor, Emitac Distribution, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Vineeth Sebastian as head of sales and marketing. The company has also announced that Patrick Mulligan, formerly GM at Emitac Distribution has now been promoted to the role of CEO while Abdalla Mustafa has been appointed will become regional director, with responsibility for regional market management and development.
As the latest appointment to the Senior management team, Sebastian will be responsible for business growth, customer satisfaction, and vendor relationship development. He brings with him over 12 years of IT experience which he has gained in various leadership positions within both large scale distribution and vendor organisations serving the MEA region.
Mustafa’s new position as regional director will see him take a leading role in growing Emitac Distribution operations across the region. He will be responsible for channel development and profitable growth in Emitac Distribution’s regional markets of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Libya, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen and Qatar. He will also be responsible for developing new market opportunities, it was reported.
These appointments and reorganisation follow the appointments earlier this year of Rajesh Goel as head of Emitac Services, and Carlos Tannous as head of Emitac’s Value Add Business.
“These appointments are strong tangible evidence of Emitac’s commitment to grow our business in Middle East and Africa”, said Patrick Mulligan, Emitac CEO. “I am excited by the potential of this team to help Emitac become the best distributor in the region. By best, I mean the distributor that both the channel and vendors alike say is the best, and therefore is the company they prefer to deal with. This is what we want to be.”
