Born in Beirut, Lebanon1979. Graduated from the Lebanese American University with a degree of Computer Science and Engineering. Fady?s initial exposure to Open Source began with his first job when he was pushing the use of Open Source tools instead of the regular conventional development environment.

Fady?s exposure to open source started to broaden when he was in charge of building an open source J2EE framework to build web applications in J2EE, this framework embedded a number of JBoss projects such as Hibernate, JBoss As, jBPM.

Fady joined Red Hat in 2007 as a JBPM developer, later on he transitioned to the JBoss Operations Network team. Fady spends is keen on politics, psychology and is a guitar player and composer.
