Based in Dubai since July 2006, Steve Lewis is Nokia?s Head of Go To Market for the Middle East and North Africa. Steve?s role in this position is to lead the management and launch of Nokia?s range of mobile devices and Ovi internet services.
Prior to this role, Steve was Director of Multimedia Computers for MEA, where he was responsible for establishing and growing the Nokia Nseries brand and range of multimedia computers in the region.
Steve started at Nokia in Australia in 1994 as a National Account Manager and has since worked in a variety of roles gaining a detailed insight into the mobile industry across different regions. This included experience at Australia?s largest operator, Telstra, as Youth Marketing Manager, launching a range successful youth targeted offerings.
Prior to coming to Dubai, Steve Lewis was based in Singapore, holding the position of Asia Pacific Multimedia Imaging Director for Nokia during the time when Nokia grew to become the world?s largest digital camera manufacturer.
Prior to joining Nokia, Steve worked for Shell UK in a variety of sales and marketing positions.
Born in the UK, Steve now calls Australia home. He is married with two children. He has traveled widely in South America and Asia and continues to spend his free time exploring the region
