Gitex Conference 2008 speaker:Fadi Hindi


Fadi Hindi is the Head of Strategic IT Planning & Enterprise Architecture at Dubai Customs.  Hindi has eighteen years of consulting experience in implementing large scale projects in different industries including Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Financial Services, and Government.  He is a founding member of the Integration Consortium ( and is the IC Middle-East Chairman.


Hindi has practical business experience in Corporate Strategy, Finance, Corporate Performance, Business Profitability, and Information Systems Implementation. He has deep expertise in using Enterprise Architecture to achieve alignment of strategy, business, and technology.


Hindi has spoken at several conferences in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East (Dubai) including Gartner, CIO Summits, Gitex (Dubai), SAP’s User Conferences, and more recently in Strategic Planning Seminars. In addition, Hindi has published numerous papers in the EAI Journal, eBizQ, and other publications.


Some of his awards include CPI?s / IBM?s SOA Vision Award in 2006, Telelogic?s Best Paper Award in 2007 for progressive EA Implementation, and Dubai World?s Quality Award in 2008 for Innovative IT Strategy & EA.

Hindi received a B.S. in computer engineering from North Carolina State University with focus on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
