Takween taps SAP to boost KSA’s manufacturing sector to US $450B by 2030

Takween Advanced Industries Company, a leading global supplier of plastic conversion technologies, has digitally transformed on SAP cloud data centre to boost the Kingdom’s manufacturing sector to USD 450 billion by 2030 and support the workforce of the future.

In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the government is supporting local manufacturers with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program. The program is set to attract USD 450 billion worth of investment in the Kingdom’s energy, industry, mining, and logistics sectors, according to the Gulf International Forum, and aims to create 1.6 million jobs for Saudi nationals by 2030.

Supporting the Kingdom’s manufacturing sector and job growth, Takween, which manufactures food and medical-grade plastics and non-woven fabrics, has transformed its human resources into a business partner. The SAP SuccessFactors solution, running on SAP’s cloud data centre, has empowered Takween with real-time dashboards to track employee performance and goals, deliver self-service apps, and recruiting tools.

Showing the strong business results, Takween has replaced 24 paper forms with one digital system, leading to employee efficiency increasing by 10 percent, and reducing human resources emails by 70 percent.
