Yarob Sakhnini, MEMA Sales Director, Brocade, says, “For Brocade it all about growth and opportunity. We are focusing this year on reinforcing and further developing these new partnerships to ensure that organisations across the Middle East have access to world-class networking technology.

“We will be present with Ruckus for the first time this year. This acquisition represents another important step in the digital transformation journey for our partners and customers in the Middle East.”

Over the next few months, we will see the company integrating both partner ecosystems and programmes, to ensure there is no disruption.

Brocade will also be looking to expand in the Middle East region, as it is an important one for the company.

“With ever expanding opportunities, we remain committed to growing our footprint in the region and working with partners,” adds Sakhnini.

He explains that advances in virtual reality and augmented reality technologies areredefining the way firms react to and learn from the world.

“Whether it be the way employees can absorb and analyse real-time information, or the way consumers and citizens learn, consume services, communicate or learn, it is changing our world. At the heart of realising the benefits of this, will be having the power of an agile network behind these applications.”

During GITEX, the company will have a conference room on the mezzanine floor to host press, partners and customers. In addition, Brocade’s Ruckus will be sponsoring the Westcon stand. Westcon is a partner for both Ruckus and Brocade.

“We also have a number of channel meetings already arranged for GITEX and have an ‘open door’ for many more. We are specifically there to reinforce relationships with existing partners and to forge relationships with new ones. It has been an exciting 12 months for Brocade both in terms of technology and business and we want to update partners and prospects on this at the event,” says Sakhini.
