Cambium Networks signs up Redington Value for MEA

Global provider of wireless broadband solutions Cambium Networks has announced a distribution agreement with Redington Value to provide wireless broadband, broadband backhaul, last-mile access, Wi-Fi, and narrowband SCADA solutions “to connect industrial, enterprise, urban and rural residential locations” across the Middle East and Africa. With wireless connectivity from two meters to 245 kilometers, cloud based end-to-end management, and data rates ranging from kbps to Gbps, these solutions provide affordable quality for connectivity, said the firm.

“In a competitive wireless broadband space, Cambium Networks stands out as a leader by providing proven, reliable and affordable solutions,” said Ramkumar Balakrishnan, president, Redington Value. “We have been successful in distributing solutions from Cambium Networks in India and hope to replicate this success, with our wide network of resellers in Middle East and Africa helping customers to easily expand their connectivity.”

Redington Value will focus on providing the following solutions from Cambium Networks:

  • Service provider – enabling wide area wireless connectivity with Cambium Networks Fixed Wireless Access solutions
  • Wi-Fi – cloud and controller-managed Wi-Fi for enterprise and hospitality
    • cnPilot e410 enterprise indoor 802.11ac wave 2 connectivity
    • cnPilot e500 enterprise outdoor 802.11ac coverage
    • cnPilot e501S and e502S enterprise outdoor 802.11ac coverage with integrated sector antenna
    • cnPilot e600 enterprise outdoor 802.11ac wave 2 with high-powered, Gigabit speed, beamforming, multi-user MIMO with a 4×4 antenna array
  • Industrial – licensed narrowband radio solutions for SCADA backhaul and broadband point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions for CCTV and remote access solutions
    • cnReach licensed narrowband wireless networking
    • PTP 670 for demanding point-to-point and high-capacity multipoint (HCMP)
  • End-to-end management – the cnMaestro management system, providing a complete ‘bird’s eye view’ of network performance on a single pane
