Regional value-added distributor Mindware has announced the launch of its Cloud Marketplace Platform, aimed at its Middle East and Africa partners. The platform includes an extensive array of subscription offerings, all conveniently aggregated on an online management tool.
On the core of the new platform lies Microsoft and the Cloud Service Provider (CSP) agreement recently signed by the two companies, now taking the 25-year old cooperation into the new cloud era of distributing software services, said the firm. Utilising the Mindware Cloud Marketplace and its Microsoft CSP services, the distributor’s resellers can now own the complete customer lifecycle, allowing them to easily sell Office 365, Azure, Enterprise Mobility and Dynamics 365 subscriptions and, in turn, helping their clients take advantage of compelling cloud services by owning the entire billing process and directly managing support.
“Microsoft is thrilled about opportunities that support the growth of our partners and customers through the adoption of technology” said Tareq Hijazi, director, Commercial Partner Group, Microsoft Gulf. “We are pleased to further our collaboration with Mindware in providing our customers with enterprise grade solutions through a platform that maintains the flexibility and scalability they require. The new Cloud Marketplace will offer users a greater technical edge with latest technology and fully managed services delivered from the Microsoft Cloud. Leveraging our deep proven expertise, combined with Mindware’s rich experience in software asset management and associated consulting services, this platform will further help build the confidence within customers to choose a single-window IT-partner for all their cloud requirements.”
“We chose to go live at a time coinciding with Microsoft’s start of fiscal 2018 – to inaugurate a new beginning in the way we do business with our partners” said Nicholas Argyrides, chief of sales and deputy general manager, Mindware. “Admittedly, launching the platform took us a bit longer than anticipated. Nonetheless, perfecting its functionality and usability for a seamless user experience was a top priority,” he added. “We are now ready to execute.”
