The Sustainable City has revealed some of the latest results from monitoring the city’s performance over the past 12 months during the Future Cities Show 2018.
A Brazil-based security firm has claimed that its futuristic artificial intelligence and camera technology could make Dubai the world’s safest smart city.
“Cities that will succeed will not only embrace these technologies early, but will make themselves talent magnets – the ‘place to be’ – for entrepreneurs, start-ups and ideas, to progress forward and enable them to thrive in these emerging areas,” said Hashish.
“As the world grows ever more connected, Internet of Things increasingly becomes a hot topic across many sectors,” said Younus Al Nasser, assistant director general, Smart Dubai Office.
Dubai city not only as a milieu but also as a principal example of the specific challenges that cities around the world are facing. Future Cities Show will have Sustainability, Innovation and Happiness as its main core hence focusing on several transformational concepts as catalysts for smart urban development. Future Cities Show conference and exhibition is held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
