Acer Aspire AI: Copilot and smarts meet everyday performance with innovation

The new Aspire AI range is available in 14-inch and 16-inch formats, combining Intel Core Ultra processors with Copilot+ AI features.

Acer brings AI-powered productivity to the mainstream with its new Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI Copilot+ laptops.

The expansion of the Aspire AI lineup signals Acer’s clear intent: AI-powered PCs are no longer reserved for premium price points. The new Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI laptops bring Microsoft’s Copilot+ experience, Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, and Acer’s own AI utilities into a thin-and-light design aimed squarely at students, professionals, and families.

At first glance, the Aspire AI models stay true to the design language Acer is known for—clean, understated, and practical. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch variants feature a slim aluminium chassis that feels reassuringly solid, while the 180-degree hinge adds flexibility for collaborative work, presentations, or casual media viewing.

Weighing just 1.24kg for the 14-inch and 1.49kg for the 16-inch, portability is clearly a priority, particularly for users who split their time between home, office, and campus.

Performance is where the Aspire AI range begins to justify its Copilot+ positioning. Powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 processors (Series 2) with Intel AI Boost, these systems are designed to handle AI-assisted workflows efficiently. Integrated Intel Arc graphics further enhance image processing, light creative work, and everyday visual tasks, making the laptops well-suited to modern productivity without pushing into workstation territory.

AI features are central to the experience. Windows Copilot+ capabilities such as Recall (preview), Click to Do (preview) and improved Windows Search aim to remove friction from multitasking and task recovery. Acer complements these with its own AI-powered utilities, including AcerSense for system control, LiveArt 2.0 and VisionArt for creative output, and PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice 2.0 to improve video conferencing—features that will resonate with hybrid workers and remote learners alike.

Display quality is another strong point. Both models are available with high-refresh-rate 16:10 panels, while premium configurations offer OLED displays with up to WUXGA+ resolution, 500 nits of brightness and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. In daily use, this results in sharp visuals, strong contrast, and ample vertical space for productivity tasks, from documents to creative layouts.

Battery life also stands out on paper. Acer quotes up to 21.5 hours for the Aspire 14 AI and up to 18.5 hours for the Aspire 16 AI based on MobileMark testing, with even longer figures claimed for video playback. Even allowing for real-world usage differences, the Aspire AI series is positioned as a dependable all-day companion that reduces reliance on chargers.

Connectivity and sustainability complete the package. Support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 and MicroSD ensures flexibility for peripherals and fast networks, while EPEAT Gold registration and fully recyclable packaging will appeal to organisations with sustainability targets.

Overall, the Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI strike a well-judged balance between performance, AI capability and affordability. For channel partners, they represent a compelling option for customers seeking future-ready Windows PCs that deliver meaningful AI benefits without the premium price tag often associated with next-generation hardware.
