3i Infotech elevates Pankaj Chawla

Pankaj Chawla takes charge as President for the Middle East, India, APAC & Africa regions.Global technology solutions and services provider, 3i Infotech, has announced that Pankaj Chawla, previously Head of its Middle East, Africa, Russia & CIS regions, has now been elevated to the role of President – Middle East, India, APAC & Africa regions. In his new role, Pankaj Chawla will be responsible for 3i Infotech’s business operations across significant markets which account for around 40% of the company’s global revenue. He brings with him over 16 years of extensive experience, having managed a wide range of Information Technology businesses in leading organisations like General Electric (GE), Satyam Computers and LogicaCMG.

Commenting on his new role, he said, “I am delighted to be given greater responsibility and new challenges. My new role will include driving the operations across many of the world’s emerging and high growth markets and taking 3i Infotech to greater heights in these markets. This consolidation will bring significant benefits to the Middle East region by pooling in our experiences and best practices across these high growth emerging markets of Asia. In doing so we, at 3i Infotech, look forward to enhancing the competitive advantage of our customers.”
