UAE Innovation Month, the country’s largest initiative to celebrate innovative and creative thinkers, kicks off today in Abu Dhabi.
In line with the UAE’s Innovation Month, which kickstarts today in Abu Dhabi, Tahawul Tech takes a look at five of the most innovative uses of technology across the country over the last 12 months.
The month-long event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, focuses on a different emirate every week – with some emirates set to be covered simultaneously.
Starting on February 1st, the month will begin with a week in the UAE’s capital, before moving to Ras Al-Khaimah, Fujairah, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm AlQuwain, and concluding in Dubai.
The Arab Innovation Forum will be held as part of the UAE Innovation Month initiative, whereby the month of February every year is dedicated to celebrating innovation across the UAE and the region.
The UAE MoF has joined forces with the Finovate series to drive innovation, growth and investment in banking and payments technology in the Middle East.
