Agilent Technologies has appointed Prologix Distribution as a “Premium Distributor” for the GCC countries.
Augustin Kodiyan, Sales and Marketing Manager, Agilent, said that the deal was reached because the vendor was looking to expand its footprint in the region, focusing particularly on the GCC.
“We needed a partner with a strong distribution network, technical expertise and reputation to help us grow our business and create a strong impact for our brand,” he said.

Agilent describes itself as a measurement company and a technology leader in chemical analysis, life sciences, diagnostics, electronics and communications.
Prologix will extend the vendor’s reach and support in the GCC, offering a wide portfolio of measurement products, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency counters, function generators, digital multi-metres, modular products, data acquisition and handheld products.
