Optoma unveils corporate projectors

corporate projectors, Optoma Optoma has launched a trio of corporate projectors designed for “brighter, higher resolution presentations” across boardrooms, meeting rooms and offices.

The new models EH470, EH461 and EH460ST feature Full HD native resolution and produce an exceptional brightness of up to 5000 lumens for superior images even in meeting rooms with ambient light.

As well as the usual dual HDMI + MHL, VGA and composite inputs, presentations can be plugged in from a USB device and played via the projector’s built-in OfficeViewer media player without the need for a laptop or PC. This also supports Excel, Word, PDF and JPEG files.

All models come with the added benefit of four corner geometric adjustment allowing for quick and accurate installation, ideal for uneven walls or where a projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle. The EH460ST includes a short throw lens for a 100-inch image on a screen or wall from just over a metre away – ideal in installations such as retail, museums, education and the corporate sector.

Kishan Mistry, senior product manager, Optoma EMEA, said, “These corporate projectors give businesses, that want higher quality imagery in their meeting rooms, an extremely cost-effective solution.

“For added flexibility, the geometric adjustment cuts out the need for a separate warping processor and is extremely intuitive to use.”

Full support is provided for Crestron, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN commands, which allow almost all aspects of these projectors to be controlled remotely across a network. They have extensive connectivity with multiple inputs including HDMI, VGA, RJ45 and 12V trigger. An audio input in also included which cuts out the need for additional costly audio hardware and cabling. For wireless presentations from a laptop or mobile device, the Optoma wireless WUSB adapter (sold separately) can be connected to the USB output.

The chassis design is compact and incorporates a built-in speaker that delivers 10W audio.

The new corporate projectors have an Eco mode for energy saving which includes standby mode and auto power off.  And because they are virtually maintenance free, they offer an overall lower cost of ownership, longer life and improved reliability, said the firm.

Optoma has recently appointed Redington Gulf, the regional services and solution provider for manufacturers of IT, telecom and digital lifestyle products, as its authorised distributor in the Gulf region.
