EC-Council appoints ComGuard FZ as its Distributor

EC-Council welcomes ComGuard FZ LLC who has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for the Middle East region. ComGuard, with its headquarters based in the Internet City in Dubai, is a network and security product distributor for over 23 countries in the region.

By the appointment, ComGuard will serve as the authorized distributor and training provider of EC-Council’s courseware and certification programs in the Middle East region.

“We are excited by the appointment and we are proud to be a partner of EC-Council for the region. We see this partnership as an opportunity that will further enhance our position as a key player in the information security space, providing world class certification programs and training, for the region,” says Ajay Singh Chauhan, CEO of ComGuard FZ LLC.

The Middle East region is a relatively untapped market, and a recent research released by the IDC group highlighted that spendings for information security is expected to surpass the US$9 billion mark. This bodes well for the industry, as it will see a surge in the demand for trained and certified information security professionals.

On the occasion, Jay Bavisi, President for EC-Council informs, “The appointment of ComGuard FZ LLC will ensure a stronger presence for EC-Council in the Middle East region.
