Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED) and Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) have unveiled a joint blockchain project to improve ease of doing business in the emirate and facilitate foreign direct investments.
The Smart Dubai Global Network, which is live now, is the “largest international network” focusing on pertinent areas in the field of smart cities, including Big Data, artificial intelligence, paperless governments and Blockchain.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is reportedly planning to shift several licensing services to smart channels starting from the end of April.
