Aptec launches Datacentre Alliance Partner Programme

The launch of the partner programme, follows last month’s partnership betweem Aptec Holdings Group, and four datacentre focused vendors APC, Cisco NetApp and VMware which led to the launch a dedicated Datacentre Lab and Virtualisation Training Centre for channel partners in the Middle East.

 

The Datacentre Partner Alliance programme is a new Aptec initiative to leverage the company’s strong tie up with best of breed vendors in hardware, software, networking and services. Through this programme, Aptec and Track Distribution aim to deliver comprehensive datacenter solutions to reseller partners in the region.

 

Dr Ali Baghdadi, Aptec Holdings president and CEO says the Datacentre Partner Alliance Programme aims to fast track resellers’ training in datacentre infrastructure and virtualisation solutions from best-in-class vendors. Dr Baghdadi adds that Aptec as a group has teamed up with these best of breed datacentre and virtualisation technology solutions vendors to accelerate channel training and offer channel partners hand-on experience on how to build efficient datacentres. “The time is now as enterprise data needs are growing rapidly in the Middle East,” he says. There is a huge interest from end-users to understand the opportunities of next generation datacentres.”

 

The Datacentre Partner alliance programme is partner enablement and loyalty platform designed for enterprise channel partners to explore, experience and exploit key technologies and solutions related to contemporary datacentres. The solutions under this banner will provide resellers with a greater choice for scale-up and scale-out server and storage consolidation and virtualisation strategies to meet their customers Service Oriented Architecture needs.

 

The programme will also consolidate a portfolio of practical solutions designed to meet IT and business needs.
