Evanssion has signed a distribution agreement with vArmour to provide its Distributed Security System to customers in the region.
As part of the agreement, Evanssion can now provide government entities, enterprises and service providers with security solutions that enable them to visualise and protect the new “data defined perimeter.” The VAD will provide pre-sales, sales, vendor accredited trainings, lead generation support, and a vendor support team for resellers and end customers. The two companies will also work together towards building a Centre of Excellence in Dubai that will act as a Proof-of-Concept and demo centre for customers and will also be utilised to conduct partner trainings.
“We are extremely pleased to work with Evanssion to extend our VIP channel partner base across the Middle East,” said Dean Hickman-Smith, SVP of Field Operations, vArmour. “Evanssion’s deep business relationships, technical knowledge in cloud and security, and its outstanding support of customers, makes this a perfect fit for vArmour to introduce the industry’s best data centre and cloud security technology to enterprises, telcos and government accounts. Together, we will help fuel further the adoption of vArmour’s patented, software-based Distributed Security System, to enable an unparalleled level of security protection for organisations across the entire region.”
vArmour’s DSS Distributed Security System protects enterprise data – whether on-cloud or on-premise with a simple to deploy, simple to use software based solution. vArmour is the industry’s first distributed security system that provides insight and control for multi-cloud environments. With its patented software, vArmour micro-segments each application by wrapping protection around every workload – increasing visibility, security, and operational efficiency. The partnership enables Evanssion to strengthen and bridge their specialized domains of cloud transformation and information security.
“vArmour complements our vision of modern Virtual Data Centres, and we are excited to be working with the company to deliver unprecedented visibility and security for east-west traffic in private and hybrid cloud environments,” said Ashok Chakravarthi Arulmozhi, Managing Director at Evanssion. “Large organisations are transforming their individual data centres to multi-cloud networks that require security controls to be integrated into the cloud architecture. With vArmour’s Distributed Security System, customers will be able to fully protect their most critical applications and meet stringent security standards.”
