HP appoints Hussein Hamza as new Egypt MD

In this role, Hamza will provide leadership for HP’s enterprise business in the country while building close customer relationships to create best-in-class client experience. He will be based in Cairo.


“We are pleased to have Hamza joining our team, to lead HP in Egypt, which is such an important market for the company”, said Santiago Cortes, MD for Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA).


“We look forward to continued growth across our Enterprise Business in Egypt. Hussein’s leadership experience as a country manager, his strong commercial background with Financial Services, and his understanding of the importance of partners will be invaluable in his new role, and help HP to drive profitable growth”, Cortes says.


Hamza, an Egypt national, joins HP from Oracle, where he spent twelve years in various roles, his most recent responsibility being the Senior Director, Financial Services Middle East and Africa, and Country Manager, Egypt.


Prior to his time with Oracle, he worked for IBM for ten years in technical, sales and managerial positions.


PC powerhouse HP has appointed Hussein Hamza to the position of MD and Enterprise Business leader for HP Egypt, effective immediately.
