HP Procurve, Avaya and Aptec Distribution host roadshow in KSA

HP ProCurve Middle East continues to reaffirm its commitment to support the development of its local partner community in Saudi Arabia, as it held a roadshow aimed at enhancing partner skills. The roadshow, titled ‘Converged Networking’ was jointly being held with Avaya, a leading provider of communications networks and Aptec Distribution, one of HP ProCurve’s and Avaya’s leading distributors in the region. The event aimed to give partners the opportunity to learn about ProCurve and Avaya’s extensive product portfolio of networking and voice solutions.

Approximately 100 representatives from 60 partner organizations attended the event that was held at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers in Riyadh.

"The event aims to boost the skill sets of partners by sharing information on ProCurve and Avaya’s new and existing offerings that will help generate new business and grow their margins,” said  Sabbahuddin Khan , BU Manager for HP ProCurve at Aptec Distribution. “This roadshow also provides partner sales representatives with the fundamental skills they need to be proficient at selling advanced networking and voice products.

“Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest growing markets for HP ProCurve in the region and we remain committed to supporting and expanding our channel partners in the Kingdom,” said Alaa AlShimy, General Manager of HP ProCurve Middle East. “We are confident that this roadshow will help our partners to be better differentiated, more recognized and further rewarded which will help them grow their business and enhance their profitability. Furthermore, we thank Avaya and Aptech for continually striving to find additional ways of adding to our partners’ success in the Middle East.”

"In addition, the program will ensure that our partners remain up to date on the sales, marketing and delivery of both HP ProCurve’s and Avaya’s product portfolios to better leverage our customers’ current technology investments.”

HP ProCurve has recently been strengthening their partner programmes, which are aimed at helping partners grow their businesses and service end-user needs better. In addition, ProCurve is actively expanding its partner network in the region, which currently comprises of approximately 1800 established Select Partners across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
