Epicor’s business software solutions make it to 2012 CODiE Awards finalist category

Epicor Software Corporation, a provider of business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organisations, recently announced that EpicorHuman Capital Management (HCM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) are finalists for the 27th annual CODiE Awards, in the business software categories for Best Human Capital Management Solution and Best Supply Chain Management Solution, respectively.

“We are truly honored that Epicor HCM and SCM solutions have been awarded a CODiE finalist in these two categories,” said John Hiraoka, executive VP and CMO for Epicor. “Like all of our offerings, Epicor HCM and SCM solutions meet the needs of today’s diverse global business organisations, empowering our customers to maximise productivity, innovate and think differently about their business — ultimately to drive success and inspire their own customers.”

“All of this year’s CODiE Awards finalists should feel proud of making it to this stage,” said Rhianna Collier, VP of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) Software Division. “We’re pleased with all of the 2012 nominees, and the finalists reflect excellence and innovation in the business software industry.”

The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now SIIA, so that pioneers of the then‐nascent software industry could evaluate and honor each other’s work. Since then, the CODiE Awards program has carried out the same purpose—to showcase the software and information industry’s finest products and services and to honor excellence in corporate achievement.

119 finalists were selected in 25 categories for the 2012 CODiE Awards. SIIA members will now select the winners from among the finalists during the SIIA member voting phase of the program that takes place from March 26-April 13. Software members include the companies developing the applications, services, infrastructure and tools that are driving the software and services industry forward. As such, the CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the industry’s only peer-reviewed awards program. The winners will be announced on Thursday, May 10, at the CODiE Awards Presentations held in conjunction with the SIIA’s annual All About the Cloud conference in San Francisco, California.
