Building on Canon’s business model that its partners are an extension of the company and are provided with an equal level of support, Canon Emirates met and discussed strategies with the new resellers to work together in the UAE’s robust IT channel.
The company showcased its latest range of business solutions – from large format and commercial printers to scanners and projectors providing valuable hands on training on its new product line up. During the product demonstrations, Canon Emirates impressed resellers with its broad range of business solutions and assured resellers of its full support.
“Reseller development and channel growth have always been a strategic part of our plan to grow our business in the UAE. We’re delighted that 30 new resellers have seen the potential of this business, and we are committed to helping them achieve success by providing support especially in areas of critical importance, such as marketing, after-sales service and promotions,” says Nasser Darwazeh, GM, Canon Emirates.
Darwazeh says reseller distribution is the fastest way to increase market share as well as improve end-user coverage. “With our growing network, we are confident that we will be the preferred choice for printing and imaging solutions,” he says.
Canon Emirates likewise announced to its new resellers that it is now offering a special 3-year warranty onsite for its laser printers. “We will provide adequate training and technical support to our resellers so they can provide the same to their customers,” Darwazeh adds.
