Saudi Arabia to crack down on delayed payments

Saudi Arabia has ordered an inventory of all delayed payments to the private sector, urging a quick resolution for outstanding payments in the Kingdom.

The Saudi press agency said on Monday, citing a royal decree, that it will also establish a committee headed by the trade and investment minister to take charge of gathering data on payment delays to various private sector contractors.

According to a Reuters report, the committee will look into reasons for the delays and come up with solutions for speedy repayment.
