Evanssion has expanded its solutions portfolio by signing a distribution agreement with Rubrik, a company focused on converged data management. The agreement enables Rubrik to expand its presence in the Middle East and Africa, while allowing Evanssion to broaden its portfolio and serve a greater variety of requirements.
Rubrik highlighted that it had experienced rapid customer growth in North Ameri-ca, and has launched its operations in the EMEA region in response to tremendous customer and partner demands. Its Converged Data Management software powers the Company’s r300/r500 Series appliances, which deliver automated backup, instant recovery, unlimited replication, and data archival at infinite scale. The company was recently named a Gartner Cool Vendor in Storage Technologies.

Rubrik has also announced the appointment of IT industry veteran Karl Driesen, as Head of EMEA Sales. As the former Vice President, EMEA at Palo Alto Networks, Driesen built a team of over 200 employees and a $200 million business in five years. Most recently, Driesen was a Vice President with Elastica.
