Microphone and audio electronic manufacturer Shure is showcasing how its products and solutions “enable productivity, collaboration and borderless communication” at InfoComm MEA 2017, the region’s professional audio visual and ICT show.

The UAE’s professional audio-visual market is estimated to reach $707 million by 2018, up from the expected $656.2 million in 2016, as the industry shakes off a market slowdown, according to a Euromonitor International (EMI) report.

Economic growth, rising tourism, and the completion of several mega projects, are the key drivers of the UAE’s professional audio-visual market, with demand for related equipment and services estimated to grow by nearly eight percent over the next two years, the research has revealed.

“Digital transformation is taking the front seat in the Middle East as economies are driving forward to diversify from oil to a service and tourism-oriented economy,” said Chicco Hiranandani, director, sales and marketing, Shure MEA. “Professional audiovisual (pro-AV) solutions and especially high-quality audio have a key role to play in projects related to government, education, corporate and the MICE industry.”

At InfoComm MEA 2017, Shure will showcase how their solutions can bring value to education, government and enterprises across a selection of other verticals.

Shure claims that its Microflex Complete is the “ideal” conference system for rooms that are used for organised board meetings, legislative proceedings, or training events.

Microflex Advance networked array microphones, meanwhile, come either in the form of ceiling arrays or table arrays, providing an “invisible” audio solution that is not only ergonomically designed but also “flexible and efficient”.

“Internet of Things (IoT) and Cloud Computing are transforming industries, including the field of AV technology,” Hiranandani added. “Instead of working as an independent system, modern consumers are now looking at AV as a component within a larger, more fully integrated communications field. Shure stands at the forefront of this convergence of audio and IT, delivering innovative, groundbreaking technology with unmatched intelligibility.”
