RFID brings TagStone, noFilis closer

TagStone, a wireless technology solutions integrator, operating in the Middle East, signed an alliance partnership agreement with noFilis, an AutoID and mobile business specialist, focused on supply chain, asset management and logistics, including material management especially in the retail sector.

“In a region that has seen the retail sector grow, albeit slower than previous years, taking advantage of the right tools can give these retailers the edge over competition,” said Mike Meranda, TagStone CEO. “Our partnership with noFilis will allow us to leverage their expertise in the supply chain and logistics sector to offer a cost effective management solution that would help them maximise their distribution warehouses, providing the much needed RoI.”

noFilis’ CrossTalk is a software platform that enables integrators to rapidly deploy complex business cases in industries like Retail, Oil&Gas, Logistics & Warehousing, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Process Industries, Aviation and many more. The system can be as light-weight as necessary, or can be distributed across an enterprise. CrossTalk delivers seamless integration of RFID, AutoID and sensor based data from intelligent environments that enable real-time business processes. CrossTalk can be run on small devices like RFID Readers and “out of the box” appliances as well as on clustered data centre environments. It can be distributed across geographically separate networks with ease.

“noFilis is excited about bringing its extensive supply chain and logistics expertise to the region. Our CrossTalk software can integrate easily into AutoID projects and mobile scenarios and has the ability to expand as the user needs change and grow. We are pleased to be working with Tagstone as they have strong regional presence and knowledge”, Patrick Hartmann, Global Sales Director, noFilis.

TagStone and its alliance partners will be present at the Middle East’s first RFID Journal LIVE event, scheduled to be held June 15-17, 2009, at the InterContinental Hotel Festival City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This event will showcase how companies can leverage the unparalleled benefits that RFID technology can deliver.
