Avnet expands distribution agreement with Enterasys

Avnet now has rights to distribute Enterasys Networks’ full portfolio of wired and wireless network infrastructure products and security solutions throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Jamal Qaffaf, MD at Avnet Technology Solutions Middle East, says, Avnet Technology Solutions helps its supplier partners create new business opportunities by providing channel partner support around the globe. Qaffaf says by adding Enterasys Networks solutions to Avnet’s offerings for the MENA region, the company is helping the channel to take advantage of an untapped and growing market of enterprise customers in the region.

Avnet will work with its channel partners to identify sales opportunities for complete solutions that include Enterasys Networks hardware and software technology to address the business challenges of end users. Avnet, in collaboration with Enterasys Networks, will also deliver greater local awareness and demand in the market for Enterasys’ solutions in the Middle East and Africa.

“Avnet is one of the most dynamic technology solutions distributors in the MENA region due to the company’s global scale and scope and its visionary strategy for accelerating profitable growth,” says Asli Aktas, regional director Enterasys Networks Middle East. “We believe this agreement will provide Enterasys with an excellent platform to further expand its geographic reach and help customers solve their business challenges by providing innovative solutions with the highest level of service and support while reducing their total cost of ownership.”

Enterasys Networks offers integrated hardware and software solutions that share an open architecture, provide common management, embed security and ensure longer product lifecycles. Enterasys products and solutions offer cutting-edge technology in various domains, particularly cloud computing, compliance, high-end voice and video and the data centre.
